Maybe you’ve lived in many houses, but this one feels different.
It has history and potential. Now you’re ready to make it your own, and perhaps even build something greater from it. But with so many choices, where do you begin?
Start with clarity.
I didn’t set out to become an interior designer. I set out to save a building. An 800-year-old abbey, crumbling and forgotten in the Norfolk landscape. What followed wasn’t just a restoration. It was a four-year lesson in resilience, vision, and the quiet courage to trust your instincts when the stakes are high.
We were told it would take a decade. We did it in four years. During a recession...while I was undergoing chemotherapy...and commuting to my long-haul airline job.
That project taught me what no course ever could: how personal and emotional the restoration journey is, and how traditional design training alone is not enough to move the needle.
I’ve worked on homes of all kinds, from humble cottages to historic landmarks, always with one goal in mind - to honour the architectural integrity of a building and to help create a beautiful, highly functional home for those who live in it.
True Foyer is where all of that comes together. It’s where lived experience meets design expertise. And where your home becomes more than a reflection of trends. It becomes a reflection of you.
That’s why I created the Home Style Archetypes. It is a structured, personality-based system, intended to move you past guesswork in interior design and into genuine alignment between your home and you, the owner. It’s not about decorating rules or chasing trends. It’s about understanding your deeper style story, so that every decision, every tile, every textile feels right.
I now guide women through this Archetype discovery process because so many arrive feeling unsure. They know what doesn’t feel right, but not what does. My role is to bridge that gap with clarity, care, and timeless design.
For those looking to connect with others, I'm setting up a Period Property Club. A members-only space, dedicated to homeowners who are in the midst of a renovation journey.
